As the founder of Lead Detectives, my journey started over a decade ago completing home renovations; I worked on century-old houses and new builds alike. As a young renovator, I quickly realized the importance of lead awareness and safety.

Too many families and workers unknowingly expose themselves to these hidden dangers. Landlords sometimes cover lead paint with a quick coat of fresh paint that hides the real risk but doesn’t solve it. This is why I began Lead Detectives: to uncover these invisible hazards, protect families, and make every home a safer place to live.

As a woman-owned business in a field traditionally dominated by men, I’ve faced my share of challenges—but I’ve also seen firsthand the value of diverse perspectives and leadership. I’m proud that Lead Detectives is a space where experience, expertise, and a little bit of grit come together to make a real difference in the communities we serve.
